Your tour begins with an early morning departure from Volos, traveling through picturesque landscapes of central Greece. Along the way, enjoy views of verdant valleys, rolling hills, and traditional villages that showcase the region’s charm. During the journey, your Driver/guide will share fascinating stories about Meteora’s history, geology, and cultural significance, building anticipation for your visit.

Upon arrival, you’ll marvel at the imposing rock pillars that rise dramatically from the plains of Thessaly, a natural wonder millions of years in the making. Meteora is home to six active monasteries, but your tour will include visits to two of the most iconic ones. One monastery with a License Professional Tour Guide, carefully selected for their historical and architectural importance.

After exploring the monasteries, enjoy a relaxing stop at a local taverna in the nearby town of Kalambaka or Kastraki. Savor authentic Greek cuisine, including dishes like souvlaki, moussaka, or fresh salads, paired with local wine or tsipouro. This break is the perfect way to recharge and immerse yourself in the region’s culinary traditions.

Following lunch, you’ll begin your return journey to Volos. Along the way, take in the serene countryside and reflect on the day’s incredible sights. Arrive back in the city in the evening, with plenty of time to relax or explore Volos’s vibrant nightlife.

• All prices are for 1 Tour and for 1 to 3 passengers (4 on request) with a TAXI or Simple Sedan & up to 7 passengers (8 on request) with a MINIVAN up to 12 passengers with a  Minibus.

No refunds are allowed after this time.

• For "EXTRAS" you have purchased (Admission fees, Professional tour guides, Lunch or
dinner etc.) You can cancel free of charge until 7days before your tour is due to start.
